The Online Speech Bank describes itself as:
"an index to and growing database of 5000 full text, audio and video (streaming) versions of public speeches, sermons, legal proceedings, lectures, debates, interviews, other recorded media events, and a declaration or two."

Ah, the poor professors... often so UNTHOUGHTFUL about public opinion.
No freedom of speech for THEM. Blog... but in peace.
The First Amendment is surely meant only for those who wish to shout obscenities?
Or burn their country's flag? Or fill the internet with spam? or worse?
And there are those (few) who THINK the academics are paid TO THINK.
If not, then what else?... to PONDER in silence? To merely agree with the mindless masses?
If the world consists largely of those who merely RECEIVE orders, as it does,
then who GIVES the orders?
and on what basis?
WHO has THOUGHT about THAT?
And who are the wise men, then, behind the thrones of power?
THINK THEY NOT before they VOICE their views?
Surely the rest of the world is not doing much of that - namely, THINKING.
Otherwise, maybe our Planet Earth would be in better shape than it is.
REAL THOUGHTS when VOICED
do not necessarily follow
the dictates of THOUGHTLESS public opinion.
And this is always a nuisance.
Just being THOUGHTFUL.
